After a career spent mostly dealing with Family Law, Martyn was looking for a way to resolve separation problems more constructively.
The adverse impact on the children of separating and divorcing families was something he was keen to tackle.
"The need for low conflict divorce has never been higher. There are implications which stretch far beyond the couple themselves of how well or badly they handle their breakup.
The most profound impact will be on their children - their future education, employment and relationship prospects have all been shown to be adversely affected by living through their parents bad divorce. We owe it to our children to minimise the impact on them of the choices we make about our relationships. I am committed to doing what I can to lessen the impact of relationship breakdown on my clients' children."
